*This could also be used for Day 2 of my Festive Env.'s Challenge (Wreath), but I came up with the idea late (on Dec. 10).
I gotta say, I am so impressed with myself here! I had another env. all ready to go for Sharon, but it was beyond hard to work with (see below) --The collage pieces started coming off, and I was afraid to send in the mail. So, instead of doing another like it, I came up with this idea!
I started out lettering her name repeatedly, in a circle, using metallic green ink. Started with tiny pp uncial, then pp script over, then imperial script on top of that! (I plan to take a class on that in Feb, as I'm self-taught.)
It still needed something, so on the inside, I lettered her name again, this time making the imperial script long. LOVE how it looks! I kinda wanted to do the outside the same, but was afraid I'd mess it up, so I then added red glitter glue and a bow.
Made a video to show close-ups:
Me so happy. 😊
I feel like it still needs something on the inside, but I'm so afraid of messing it up. Maybe b/c it's so big. Next year, if I redo, i'll use on a smaller env.
Here was the first env. attempt:
The env. is super slick -- which I have experience using, but it wasn't as fun as i first thought. (more ex's. coming up with Cathy).
These are going bye-bye in the trash.
