Thornton to Nele

Full button Alphabet with her name highlighted.

I would have loved to use either the golf ball or soccer ball stamp on this (see below), as they would go perfect, but since it's international, I have to use the not-so-fun ones.  :/ (waaa.)

See? Perfect.

Thornton to Dana

This was for one of my year-long exchanges. I love how it turned out.

Hand drawn button alpha. Color pencil fill in.

No pic with real stamp, but I'm pretty sure I used this.

Back accidents.  :/

Here is an insert I did for her, that I may mount on black paper:

"D" for Dana!

Here are her comments from an email:
"Hi Leslie, just got home and found your envelope in mailbox. LOVE LOVE LOVE it! I’ve been out of town for a few days, and was expecting a bunch of bills in my mailbox, but found just your envelope. It’s wonderful! I will be showing it to everyone this week! The enclosure with my initial was great! I’ve been playing around with something similar, so that was a special treat."

Thornton brights! (old exchanges)

I used to really be into Peter Thornton's button alphabet, and created a few env.'s with the same theme:

hand-drawn on grey with neon colors. Enviro caps & lc alpha for a border.

One to myself (Didn't send, just created).

I totally forgot about this one until one day, I saw it pop up on Pinterest. In 2003, I found her website at:
https://www.cecilia-letteringart.com/mailartgallery/mailartgallery.html and created an env. to send to her.

And a few more just for fun:

This one was more vibrant in-person, plus this is a scan.

Do not like the red outline.
