Decided to send Nanski some funky abstract flowers with matching insert.

Lettering is a little off, but oh well.

April Showers...May Flowers (to Jean)

So, this one didn't turn out quite as envisioned, but I hope Jean appreciates the idea!

I wanted to do "April" in various hands, raining down, then spell out May with my letter flowers, but I don't like the "aprils". However, i LOVE the colors (env.) and stamp!

And for my letter, did another word border, "happy spring!" in marker.

April to Lina (Name flowers)

another name letter flowers, this time for Lina! 

Each letter of her name is a flower (you can see the "n" best).

Then for the insert, I did this quote, and the flowers the same (I like the "l" and both "o's" the best, but the m is nice too!)

More flower letters (to Nava)

Same as Jean's for this one ( https://snailmailingmadness.blogspot.com/2025/03/letter-flowers.html ).

Did this before Jean's, and you can tell, as I messed up some of the letters. (the first l mainly)

Again, took each letter from her name and made a flower. Love the last e, and the S (funky!), as well as the 2nd "l" -- looks like a side view of a flower.

I also love the butterfly stamp! (wish they still sold these)

It'll be fun to see i I can do the whole alphabet.

Looks rather plain, but oh well.

As you can see below, I messed up the J a bit (too long a tail), and instead of just doing black dots over, I tried scraping, but that made a mess. So I still did the black dots, making a trail, and adding on a little bumble bee.

Letter "flowers"

I cannot find the Pinspo for this (or fellow IG-er), but will update when I do, as their post was the inspo for this idea.

I took each letter from the name and made a flower with it. My x-heights are off, as I didn't take the time to measure, and the mixed inks are accidental, as I used my Pilot Parallel pen (hard to clean between changing inks).

Love the e! Easy name to do.

For Nava's, the S is kinda fun and I did the e's both ways. (Wish I had done Nava on the back.) -- Messed up the first L, but I like the 2nd.

layered alpha to Patty

i created this last year and it's been sitting in my folder waiting to be used. Decided to send to Patty this month.

The design at the top is a layered alphabet done with my ruling pen. Added colors to match stamp.

Bike Month!

For the March Snail Mail Collective Exchange (IG), the theme was handmade envelopes. Been making my own env.'s for decades, and decided to go with this bike themed one I already had on hand.

Nature theme to Dominique

Dominique was my April partner for this exchange. I sent her a lettered quote as well as a story about my first nature walk.

I'm still in my Spring-y theme mode, so I did these pointed pen flower (grass?) letters for Abby. (mixture of akim too)
