Stickers on Red to Janet & Leanne

In going through my art files (and using my rub-on letters) I decided to use some of my alpha stickers, to mix things up a bit.

I love how Janet's turned out. So fun. This would make a cute V-day one as well.

Had to alter some of Leanne's letters, and luckily, permanent markers worked great.

Grad. Invites

My youngest graduates May 26, and we're having a party the following weekend. So, in keeping with my 100 Day Marker Challenge on IG, I used my gold Elegant Writer callig marker for the names.

It was the best I could do to match the invite and stamp combined.

some samples.

I had to include this text message, as it's always fun to get this kind of feedback, ESP. when I wanted to redo the name! (That's how it was with a lot of these. I was in a hurry to get them out in time, and afraid of running out of env.'s, so some were just ok.)

Scooby Stamps

This idea came from Janet. (see pic below)
I was in awe of her creativity with it, using a brown craft env. and black spots for the dog.
So, I decided to do my own version with a Crayola brush pen and brown craft wrapping paper.

original from Janet. SOOOOO cute & clever!

Yes, I did one for myself. The env. I used is "recycled" as it was a junk mail one. For the window, I wanted to do a 3d piece, but too much work and no time. So, I tried to re-create the flower from the stamp, and used stickers on the outside.

po is po'd!

I shared this as a story on IG, and have to share here as well, as I found it rather funny, as well as a lesson learned.

I'm doing a series of "Mail to Myself", just for fun, so for Bike Month, decided to make on of my wrapping paper env.'s to me.

Thought it fun how it turned out, and although I think the address is fairly readable, I don't think the po thought so:

I had to laugh at how they marked up the whole env.! Maybe it's b/c the address is in a circle, and that requires extra postage??? but from now on, I will make sure to 1) leave plenty of white space and 2) write the address in a more linear manner. #lessonlearned
