Day 3: Ornaments

I have a "fun" story regarding this env. (see below)

I'm so mad, as I messed up. It was turning out great...until I added the name and address.  :(

The name didn't show up well in gold, so I tried going over in white. Same with address: I did in black, and I felt it blended in too much with the design. Grrr. Wish I had done both in white. (THEN, my darn ink bled when doing the 5!) ugh.

Made out of  wrapping paper (which will be a cross-over for another upcoming prompt!)

Also, I cut a blank piece from another section to paste over the notes in the middle, in order to have plenty of white space for addressing. #clever!

So, here's the fun story:  I share my artwork with my oldest, as he's interested and gives me objective feedback. I was excited to show him some new ideas for this project, and this was one of them. Being a musical person, he immediately "ooooooh"-ed!, which gave me the idea to send to him at his work! 

He loved the paper and the idea of the ornaments (Pinterest!)

I was so excited to send his way, til I messed it up (and, of course, I attached the stamp b/4 my goofs). I could still try to send or redo. If I have time, I'll redo (or re-patch a new area for the address). Wish me luck!
