Forgot I had a few pages I tore out from the USPS Catalogue, til I got Jean's! (see below).
I probably should have sent this in Sept., as Summer was winding down (the flowers and garden veggies seem apt!), but sent today instead. Used the higher priced butterfly stamp so hopefully it will stand out (again aptly themed!)
Used a metallic Zig brush marker for her name. Was going to try to do the address in in the white border line in the center, but thought it'd be too tiny. I like how it turned out!
This is a funky mis-mash card I created for her a few years ago, when I was experimenting with my grid "stencil" and markers (see: https://snailmailingmadness.blogspot.com/2019/08/grid-rubbing-jeans-name.html )
I kept forgetting to send to her, and came upon it when I found my catalog page so decided to finally send since it fit in the env.
Here is the catalog page env. from Jean:
So pretty in-person. Jean fooled me with this b/c at first when I saw it, I thought she was sending me a book of stamps! Jean has sent me a few stamps before (mostly really old and used), so I thought I must've done something really special and she was either thanking me or cleaning out her art room! But nope... just a page from the USPS catalogue! 😆😆
