Graffiti to Jean

Jean asked for extra env.'s in the July PTEx email, so I'm obliging!  ;D   There is just something about her name that is so fun. However, this env. isn't an example of that. It's actually reminiscent of an earlier env. idea I tried that failed.

This is another practice sheet where I was testing different tools (pointed brush pen, folded nib, music nib) using my black iridescent ink (I always want to spell iridescent with 2 "r's". Doesn't it look better spelled like this:  irridescent ?)  :D  Then, added neon colors

Then, I added her name and address in tiny print in the open spaces.

Wasn't sure how to position the stamp, so I ended up angling it. Wish i had taken a before pic.

For the back I added a little "hello!" then realized there wasn't room for my return address. I felt that if I used a return add. label, it would take away from the design, so am leaving as is.

I don't like leaving off my return address, in case it doesn't get delivered. But hopefully she'll get it!

I also enclosed a little "hi" notecard using my music nib, and only after I sealed the env. did I remember that I forgot to take a pic of it.  :(  So, just to give you a visual, I used black ink, and colored in with bright colors, trying to match the env.
Maybe I'll try to re-create and post at a later time.

Update:  Actually, she posted it so here are the images and comments.

Cancelled env.

Love how she showcased the flap too (can you see the word "Ruling" on it (for my Ruling Writer).

And the comments:  :)
"Exuberant.
That sums up this envelope.
It's a good idea that could be tailored to fit with any stamp. It's getting the stealworthy label."

"Modern art on an envelope!" (finn’s comment)

***i got the "Stealworthy" label!!! Made my day.  :)
