Coffee Env.

This printed cardstock was from a packet of paper samples, and I loved the print, not only for my love of coffee, but the design itself is so cool.

Folded in half.

Other way.

Unfolded piece.

3d Cap

Sent this to my oldest (but can't remember what for!) Love the idea of 3d pieces on env.'s

Family Cmas 2016

I try to do a family card and update every year, and I end up lettering the names all the same to save time. This year, I hand-drew some pointed pen uncial.

Sorry for the blurry photos! I love these snowflake stamps and wish they were still available.

Cmas Misc. (Money cards)

Since I don't like to spend money on cards (beings I have the materials to make them!) I decorate and letter a card for my kids each year (usually for their stocking for money), but I also do this for extended family members. This way I put the money in the env. and then wrap that in a box, and that way they have something fun to open, vs. just the card.

hand-drawn fun with 3d tree pasted on (outlined w/gel pens and filled in w/metallic)

Candy Cane font
Another hand drawn one.

Cmas to Maureen

I think I messed up the P, so to correct it, i added a tree to the side. At the time, I think I thought this lettering was good for me. Now I look at it and cringe!
Wish I knew what stamp I used.

Green Pentel metallic pointed brush pen.

Cmas Theme to Virginia

Not sure when these were sent (early 2000's prob.), but am grouping together.

This is so fun, as the lettering is reminiscent of Dr. Seuss. Need to do more like this!

Callig pen (double stroke?) filled in with gold, and outlined w/green. Love the borders too. This is another def. repeat I need to keep in mind.

to Heather, Cmas-y

Have no idea when I sent this one, but it was probably for one of the year-long exchanges.

Although I like how it turned out, the h was a happy accident. I messed up somehow (don't remember), so I added the embellishment to it. Then I added similar design aspects to the env. borders.

Used my Pentel metallic brush pen (love those! Wish they still made them)

My brush lettering wasn't too bad!
