Lettered env. to Lina

Wish I had taken a before pic (which I'm sure I did when I first made this, but just cannot find). I originally did for my 100 Days of Markers challenge.

"live" and "Love" done using a chisel tip callig. marker. I then colored in the "O" with colors to match the stamp. THEN, added some 3d gold, just for fun.

"Dream" on the back. I first lettered under the flap and wish I hadn't. So to correct it, I re-lettered on top. Doesn't look as nice though.  :/

Collage env. to Lina

I've really been into making collages lately, so i thought i'd try it out on an env.

As I explained on my "Design...No-No's" page, this can be tricky/iffy attaching 3d pieces, so I'm hoping these stayed on!

I don't think i sent an insert to match, and I love how the colors match the env., but it was tricky matching along with the stamp too.

Volunteer Work

These are mock-up env.'s for donor thank you's. Since I love lettering, i offered to do these for the DMPA, as there are less than 10 that go out each month. (if there were more, then I'd want to get paid -- maybe!)  ;D  (Can this be one of the ways I "give back"?)

The fun is in the freedom I have! This was just to give them an idea of how I would possibly address . I really like the idea of the "musical" looking one (with my split nib automatic pen -- "music nib", Lower Right). It will depend on the person's name.

I could do the name in red too, but not sure if that would be too "blood" looking. We'll see!

Clever me! ("Courage" to Janet)

Did a matching set with this mini watercolor card & env. (got lucky with stamp colors!)

i tried to emulate a pinterest desgin, but not liking how mine turned out.

Now, here's where I got clever:  When I started to make the design for the card, I didn't realize I did it on the back side (you can see the fold to the Right, above). I was so bummed, as I kind of like how it turned out, but didn't want to waste, so I turned it into this!  😄

Teal name on Pink to Maggie

I forgot to sign up for the PTEx in August, so I decided to send one to Maggie, as it's been a while since I've exchanged with her.

Don't like my stamp placement (didn't gauge out the lettering very well). I should have placed it lower under the e. (grrrr.)

Matches so pretty though!

I always find her name challenging to do (with the double g's), so I tried to dupe this practice piece:

Used my Hiro poster nib.

"hello" on letter was tricky with my white Ziller ink.

again, practice sheet much better. (walnut ink)
