Ocean to Emily, 5

I didn't want to duplicate any other designs, and I had these sea coral fish postcard stamps, so I decide to try and get a bit creatively decorative for Emily. I just started playing with the letters in her name, and was lucky to come up with a few images that worked.

I knew I was going to do "seaweed" and coral to surround the fish, but for her name, I really didn't have anything to go by, so they're all my own creations (i.e. the E and Y -- no idea if there is any type of plant like that or fish, but who knows?)  😉😁

The only one I'm disappointed in is the m, as I was trying to make that look like the cream coral in the stamp. And the "water drops" above the middle fish are to represent the dot above the i.
My main worry is the po won't recognize the 2 stamps, not only b/c they're part of the design, but also b/c they're postcard stamps (which, amount to $1.12 combined, well over the regular postage cost). SO, I'm noting so on the back.

fishtail on back (or mermaid?)

Says, Under the Sea, and I love how it looks like Ocean waves. However, I wish I had colored in UNDERNEATH with ocean colors! SO, am redoing for one of my journals.

Ocean theme 3, Whale Tail

Decided to go "simple" for this one, and do the ocean waves in pp with a whale tail.

Used this stamp b/4 ordering the compass ones, however, I feel it can signify how peaceful the ocean can seem at times.

I outlined the tail in 3d puff paint.

And put the front of the whale on the back! (like the 2nd env. I did for this theme)

Made a matching insert, and love the quote.
