Nature theme to Dominique

Dominique was my April partner for this exchange. I sent her a lettered quote as well as a story about my first nature walk.

Funky to Vanessa

I exchanged with Vanessa for PenPalentines and decided to send her another, as she makes marbled paper and I got the loveliest env. from her.

This is a funky design I did last year. I decided to use, as the design looks a bit like a V.

I added colors to match the stamp and a pointed pen for her name (metallic purple ink).

An old insert I decided to give (from 2020). I like the idea of it, but not the execution.

I'm still in my Spring-y theme mode, so I did these pointed pen flower (grass?) letters for Abby. (mixture of akim too)

I mixing up my "Alpha Garden" letters! love how they turned out.

And the insert. Another "nearly there" piece, as I'm unhappy with the dotted flight line of the bee and the bee itself. Grrrr. (A for effort.) 😉

I only had one person on my list this time, so decided to send one to Dominique again.

Had fun with my spring quote. Pleased with how they both turned out.

Wrote to Dominique, telling her I try to do this for all the hosts of any Snail Mail exchange, as I greatly appreciate it (and, b/c I love sending snail mail!)

Did 3d flowers like Cathy O's. Added the snail for fun.

"Magic" to Angelique

I'm always trying to keep up with Angelique's cool art, so I used my Brody pen to make her expressive, gestural name.

 

But, actually, was trying to match the "magic" insert.

How did I do?

And on the back, just for fun, was trying my Imperial script for name flowers.

Fun on the flip side (oh hi!) :D

Did this back in 2019, and thought I'd post, just for fun.

I love utilizing the back flaps of env.'s (when there is plenty of space) and having fun with them, such as this. So simple, yet a nice little "treat" for the recipient.
