Coffee theme to Mia (Canada)

For this month's Feb PTEx, I got an int'l. env., and since I'm running low on my pink int'l. stamps, I decided to use 3 of the coffee ones for Mia. 

This was actually a fun one, as the brown insert (see below) has swirls, and is actually lightweight cardstock paper that could have been used for a coffee sleeve! (Wish I had taken a pic of that!)

Design (Quick Brown Fox, Converted)

I love this env., but "sadly", I don't think I can ever mail it. 1) b/c it's too hard for me to part with and 2) There's not enough white space for the address!

I'm sure I could write the address really small, but I don't want to chance it.

Ironically, plenty of white space on the back flap!

Sky/Clouds to Me

Just a fun little env. to myself!

I've had this sky env. for years so I finally decided to pair mr. butterfly with it and send it to myself.

Used some stickers on the back.

 

altered to Janet

I'm so bummed I don't have a before pic of this, as for some reason, it had 3 black rectangles on it. It was an unused envelope, but I have no idea why the black bars. Anyway, I decided to convert it, but at first, it just started out as a design. Then, after sitting in on of my folders (for over a year), I decided to make it into Janet's name.

It probably would've turned out better had I thought of that idea first. BUT I converted it the best I could!

Unique env.'s from Vanness

I ordered some fun inks, and decided to order these fun env.'s as well.

They're not the best quality, but I'm sure I'll have fun coming up with ideas and stamps to use on them!

 

Green "new year" to Zoe

"Met" Zoe on IG and we started exchanging.

She does some unique journaling with fun inks and folded pens (she introduced me to Vanness!)

Did this for her for the New Year. Used my split nib automatic pen.

 

Another Cmas one (late)

I didn't have my nephew's address, so they sent a late Cmas card and I got it that way (yay!)

I decided to do differently than the others, but still used a callig. maker. Just wrote it in gestural script instead of uncial.

I love the simplicity of this.

New Year to Janet

Happy 2023!  It's a new year, and that means new art! (well, sorta)

This is a converted env. from a practice piece. Once again, I forgot to take a before pic, so i have no idea what it once said. However, this is kinda cool: the right side "design" almost looks like a "2". I almost tried making that into the new year, but it looked too tricky.

The stamp doesn't go the best either, as I had to add some red for it to somewhat match. But i didn't have any other decent matching stamps. 

Diff. angle to better see the colors and details.

Hate that I have those circles covering up the address, but paint doesn't work like it use to. Grrr.

Back side. I left it as is.
