Coffee theme to Kate & Jean

So, in honor of National Coffee Day (Sept. 29), I'm posting another coffee creation (to match the coffee stamps):

I used my new big homemade folded pen for her name and did a fun K with it (messed up my t a bit). I also used brown India ink vs. walnut ink (waterproof), but it looks too dark in the pic.

For the quote, I used a Hiro poster nib. and walnut ink, accented with blue metallic watercolor.

For Jean's I used my split Coit pen and the same brown India ink. I tried to match the letters in the stamp a little, and I must say, I LOVE my N!

And Just for fun, here are a few more coffee themed env.'s from last year:

Sunflower to Jean

So, this one is rather lame. It's another freebie I got (donations mailing list) and I tried to paint a sunflower on a watercolor env. to match.

It was done in a hurry, so if I had planned it out better, it may have turned out to my liking.  But my sunflower looks rather ratty.

(Used a Posca pen for her name: extra fine point in gold)

Red to Carolyn (PTEx, Sept)

I love how this one turned out, not only the "design" and lettering, but matching the stamp too.

Even though the stamp is orange, the env. has just enough orange-red in it to match!
Used an extra fine pt. Posca marker for her name.

Now, the insert! #love !!  😊
It's a piece i did for my P&I takeover week on IG:  Used my ruling pen and iridescent ink to make a gestural alpha (vertical, but turned on its side for the insert). I just colored it in with red & yellow to match the env. & stamp and added a "hello".

Then, when I saw the finished design, I thought it would make a cool decorated envelope as well! Can't wait to duplicate! (The design will be at the top or angled.)

alpha garden to Nele

Quick design to Nele. I haven't sent her one of these yet, so it was time!

Used my slant tip Pilot Parallel pen.

Also, I can't believe I didn't take a picture of this, but luckily, i was able to get from Nele in the collage pics she sent (so, obviously, not the best quality):
