Backyard Games stamps

Had such fun with this idea!

I knew when I got these stamps, I would use them on colorful env.'s (green/blue) to match the background colors, but then, upon further examination, I saw and "S" with the tether ball cord! (see close-up of stamp below)

then, for Jean's I decided to turn it into a J. Was so thrilled with my idea!
(I feel as though hers turned out better, esp. the ball, as I used a circle template. *Another idea would be a sticker!)

Can you see the S shape?  :)

More Scooby (June PTEx)

I still have about 10 Scooby stamps, so I decided to use for some of my June PTEx recipients.

Still used the same Crayola brush marker as before. Tried to match the flower in the stamp for Jessica's "i" dot.

Thank You's

Son's grad party went great, so now it's time for Thank You's!

I purposely bought a bigger set of these, so I could include his professional grad photo to just a few folks. There wasn't much to choose from, but I really liked these....

...except for these envelopes! Weird!!! I've never seen env.'s like these before.
But hey... different is sometimes fun.

I knew right away that I'd probably address them like this (small name above box in pointed pen, then the address in the box). But I also could have done the name in script writing with a Posca pen.
However, I wasn't sure that would work out as well (and I didn't have a finer point gold pen).

Decided to do the one to his grandma like this, as he hand-delivered to her.

These were later ones. The white env. (Rodish) is because I ran out of navy env.'s.

I also sent one to my son, to thank him for working hard, helping me with his party, and for just being a good kid in general. (It was cute b/c he didn't know it was from me.)
Used my bigger tip gold Posca pen. I also made it 3d with glitter glue.

New Stamps (backyard fun)

In keeping with my 100 Day Marker Challenge theme, I used my red Crayola brush marker to kind of "emulate" a tossed frisbee (from the stamp).

This marker is from a set of 5 I bought by "mistake" -- thought they were like other Crayola brush ones I bought years ago, that have a nylon tip (like the Pentel brush pens). But nope. 😞
So, they went unused for years.

Used a rub-on letter for the back flap.

Used the same marker for Shannon's, again, trying to make it look like the path of a tossed frisbee. (btw, these are fun stamps)
